What is Naviance?

Cobb County is pleased to introduce Naviance Student – a comprehensive website that you and your student can use to make plans about colleges, and careers. Naviance Student is linked with Naviance, a service that is used in the school counseling office to track and analyze data about college and career plans, so it provides up-to-date information that’s specific to our school.

Naviance Student allows your student to:

• Get involved in the planning and advising process – Build a resume, complete online surveys, and manage timelines and deadlines for making decisions about colleges and careers
• Research colleges – Compare GPA, standardized test scores, and other statistics to actual historical data from our school for students who have applied and been admitted in the past
• Research careers – Research hundreds of careers and career clusters, and take career assessments
• Create plans for the future – Create goals and to-dos, and complete tasks assigned by the school to better prepare your student for future college and career goals.

Naviance Student also lets us share information with you and your student about upcoming meetings and events, local scholarship opportunities, and other resources for college and career information.

How do I log into my Naviance account?

• Do NOT just Google “Naviance;” The results will not get you to where you need to go! 

• If you’re given a choice, make sure you are choosing to login using CLEVER. 

• If you don’t know your Microsoft Office 365 username and password, you can find that information in StudentVUE. 

Seniors, if you are applying to colleges on the Common Application you will still submit your application via the Common App.  You will need to link your Common App to your Naviance account.  Or, if you the school requires you to apply directly on their website, you will still follow their application directions.  All electronic documents from your high school will now be sent through Naviance (ex. transcripts, letters of recommendation).

Step #2 Add colleges to the 'Colleges I'm Applying to List'

Step #3  Request your Transcript through your Naviance account

Step #4  Letters of Recommendation

You will request for Teacher Recommendations from Naviance.

How to Request Letters of Rec in Naviance (Teachers)

Need a letter of rec from your counselor?  Complete this form and then email your counselor: Academic Resume for Counselor Letter of Recommendation

Don't forget to send your SAT and/or ACT test scores directly from the SAT or ACT website!  You will log into your SAT or ACT account to send off your official test scores.  Pebblebrook High School does not send your test scores!
